School Day
School Hours
Children in Reception, Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 are welcome to enter their classrooms 10 minutes before the start of the school day where they will be welcomed by teaching staff. We are unable to supervise children before 8.40 (EYFS and KS1) or 9.00am (KS2) am and after 3.10pm (EYFS and KS1) or 3.30pm(KS2) so please ensure your children are dropped off and collected at these times, unless they are attending an extra- curricular club. Details of Breakfast Club and After School Club details can be found on the ‘Childcare’ tab.

The total curriculum time that is compulsory for all children is 32.5 hours per week. School is open for an extra 10 minutes per day to ensure a staggered and smooth transition.

Please note that at the end of the autumn term and summer term when finishing for the Christmas break and end of school year EYFS and KS1 finish school at 1pm and KS2 finish at 1.15pm.
Nursery
To ensure that all children are secure and settled and that Nursery Staff are able to eat their lunch and prepare for each session, it is imperative that all children are dropped off and collected at the times below.
Morning Nursery: 8:30am - 11:30am
Afternoon Nursery: 12:15pm - 3:15pm
Key Stage 1
Registration: 8.40am

Teaching Time: 8.45am – 12.00 and 1.00 – 3.10pm

Lunch: 12:00pm - 1:00pm
​
Close of School Day: 3:10pm
Teaching staff escort children onto the Key Stage 1 playground and meet with parents whilst ensuring all children are collected by an appropriate adult.
Reception Class Hours
Registration: 8.40am

Key Stage 2
Registration: 9:00 am
Lunch: 12:10pm - 1:10pm

Parents wait on KS1 playground and children are handed to an appropriate adult from the Reception Class entrance by a member of staff. Staff are available to meet with parents at this time.
